Maybe its the fact that I've got a shocking cold and bedridden that I don't mind bitching and coming across as slightly hypocritical. My previous posts have been reflections and insight from valid commentators on Obama's Presidency but after reading the weekend newspapers I'm wondering why the English press have to fawn over every little thing he does. I'm not talking about executive orders, shutting down Guantanamo or economic rescue plans, but Strictly Come Dancing judge dissecting his dancing, his trips to the gym (45 minutes every day!) and which European leader got his first phonecall (Pick me Barack! Pick me!).
To quote a satirical magazine "He's the most popular president of all time unless he does something stupid.... Like becoming president."
