Once again my slackness (non-dancehall kind) has led to a lack of blog posting. For once I actually have something good to say. Not only is it the BTB 5th birthday bash tomorrow but I've just listened to the best hip hop track in a long time. Jigga on vocals, Kanye at the mixing desk and Santogold doing the hook. Yes, it's similar to Swagger Like Us and yes it sounds like a mid-90s East coast track (absolutely nothing wrong with that) but lets not escape the fact that this is group of artists at the top of their game. I defy you to not nod your head to this:I also picked up the new Skream release this week. Alongside the heavy dubs he's been caning all summer are a couple of interesting tracks that hark back to speed garage, 2-step and classic 4x4. Definitely worth checking out.
